Our Heritage and Mission
Founded with dedication and inspired by the teachings of venerable Ayya Khema, our center was established by Bhikkhuni Dr. Kusuma to promote Theravāda Buddhism and support monastic training. Bhikkhuni Kotte Dhammadinna senior vipassana teacher leads our vision to nurture practitioners from all backgrounds and foster spiritual growth through meditation, teachings, and community service.
Founding Inspiration
The center was established to honor the legacy of Ayya Khema and to create a sanctuary for dedicated practice and learning for Buddhists worldwide by Ven Kusumas.
